"Off The Chain" This is my first time using Larry and he did an excellent job for my birthday party. He proved himself to be timely, flexible, accommodating, and a real skillful leader on the turntables (that's ole school) I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone who is in need of a DJ for any type of party. "Wonderful DJ - Best we have ever had!" Larry with Cat 5 Productions was the best DJ our company has ever hired for a party. It was like we were actually in a club the way he was mixing songs together and scratching. I would recommend his services to anyone. If you are looking for a DJ that is well worth the money this is the DJ you need to contact. If we get a chance to have a party again next year we will definitely call on his services again. He has a wonderful personality and was great to work with. I give him an A+++++!!

Larry was the DJ for my daughter's sweet sixteen party and did a great job. He got to the house early and set up his equipment with a minimum of fuss. He played all the kids' favorite songs and they had a blast dancing and singing, which Larry encouraged. He was good about announcing different aspects of the party and stayed a little longer than we expected because everyone was having such a good time. We would use him again and would recommend him to friends.

I found Larry on the internet and when speaking to him I knew that I had to book him. He was on time as promised. He was well groomed. He had a huge selection of music to please everyone. You can tell he likes what he does because he does it so well. He is very professional and willing to please us on every request. If your looking for a DJ that you can depend on you have found the right man. I can't say enough about his services.

From the first conversation on the phone and subsequent emails Larry was completely professional. He did not state that he specialized in music that was not his area. He was immediately responsive to requests and all the guests commented on his gentlemanly manner. The tunes selected were just right! He engaged in areas that were over and above his duty. He helped where there was a technical hitch with a piece of our own equipment. I thank Cat5 for making our wedding reception an event to remember!

Larry was outstanding to work with and made our high school NJROTC Military Ball last weekend a huge success! We were very picky about the good music we wanted to hear and the inappropriate music out there that we didn't want to hear. Larry was perfect at selecting and mixing up the variety to meet our numerous tastes - Country and Western, Hispanic, Top 40, and old classic rock for us old fuddie chaperones...the jazz during dinner was also great. Wow! Larry you did it! Our "WHS Senior Men's 2009" was a total success and we have YOU to thank for it! As you know, from the beginning, our senior's ONLY request was to have a DJ that "rocked"! And, as the parent in charge of making that happen you came through with everything & more, making my job effortless from Day 1! Your willingness to listen to the boy's and work with them made the difference! The dance floor was packed from beginning to end, and that speaks volumes! Speaking on behalf of the entire "WHS Senior Men's 2009" committee, the boys will remember last night as one of the highlights of their senior year and Larry, thanks for making it happen!

We had Larry and Cat 5 Productions DJ a surprise 50th birthday party for my husband last night. He was a wonderful DJ! Every step of the process was very easy, and he made our party just terrific. He had all of our guests up and dancing all night long, and he was able to play all of my husband's favorites. He even purchased a new CD to have a song we really wanted! I would recommend Larry and Cat 5 to my friends for any party they are planning. We hope to have him DJ for us again soon!

While planning my company Christmas Party, I contacted Larry from Category 5 Productions. Larry was pleasant from the beginning and remained this way to the very end. I expressed concern about how our group was of different ages and how he would have to cater to the needs of everyone. He did just that! "Most Friendly and Professional Service!!" Larry is just awesome!! I am so happy that I found him online! I hired him for our wedding reception. He was perfect for our event and catered to each music preference!! He kept our party going and knew how to keep everyone happy!! I would highly recommend Larry for any event! I will definitely use him again!! He even catered to my specific song requests of Texas Country Artists!!! And we didn't want him to stop playing music when the party ended and he played a few more for us!! And most importantly he updated us on the Texas Tech vs. UT Football game score through out the night for all of our sports fans!! Way to go Larry!!!

This guy is the most talented DJ ever. I have had several parties in the past and have had several DJ's and they were average with prerecorded music mixes. This guy remixed request so you now he he did not have a prerecorded cd mix. I will be booking him again very soon. Everybody at my party had the best time and i have to say the DJ made it that way.

OMG! L-Boogie was totally awesome! My daughter had the time of her life and he definitely was a BIG contributor to it! He made the party a success, he also handled a situation where the kids were a little out of control and told them he was not going to turn the music back on until they composed themselves. I would most definitely recommend him and will for sure hire him again whenever i have another function! Thanks L-Boogie (Larry) you rock!

"Hurricane Ike Didn't Stop Category 5!" Larry was a very helpful and accommodating entertainer. We had our reception exactly one week after Hurricane Ike hit the Houston Area, and Larry was there, playing a great mix of music and working with us through all of the troubles in the area. He followed all of our minor directions, and played a great mix of classic and modern music that kept everybody on the dance floor until we closed it down. It was a wonderful experience working with Larry, and we would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a professional DJ for their special day.

Let me start by saying, " Larry is the BEST DJ EVER"... My Husband & I hired Cat 5 Productions for our wedding & reception. Larry was very professional from start to finish. His service was excellent and the music selections were perfect. All were satisfied, the Young and the Old. I was so impressed with Larry. My Coordinator even thanked me for hiring him because he made her job easier, especially during the reception. IN CELEBRATION OF MY 40TH BIRTHDAY THE PARTY WAS ON!!! WITH A VERY PROFESSIONAL SET UP FROM EQUIPMENT TO PERSONAL DRESS THIS DJ SERVICE TURNED OUT THE HOUSE!!!! FROM OLDIES TO CURRENT SOUNDS, ENTERTAINING THE OLDER CROWD AS WELL AS THE YOUNGSTER'S, EVERYONE WAS DANCING THEIR SHOES OFF. Larry was very professional at all times and I know that it was difficult having to deal with a bunch of teenagers with special music requests. Whenever Larry had any doubts about certain music he Always came to check with me and I really appreciated that. All of the kids really enjoyed his selection of music and said what a wonderful job he did with the light show and all. The DJ was AMAZING! thanks to his music he kept the party going and going all night long, he even took the time to ask me what songs i preferred AND actually played them! my friends, family, and i had soooo much fun dancing to his music. im so glad i got you as a DJ. Category 5 Productions was exceptional, a perfect 10. He was early, entertaining, very professional, and had a wide variety of music. All through out the party, guest came up to me and said how great the DJ was. At our office we have employees from their early 20's up to 60 years old and Category 5 pleased everyone's taste. I highly recommend him, as we will defiantly us him again!

Larry is a great DJ!! We had a Halloween Party for 7th and 8th graders and he was very careful with what music he played. If a child made a song request that he thought might not be appropriate, he made sure he got my permission to play the song. He worked very hard to get the kids to dance and even got on the dance floor himself. He is a total professional!!

I was extremely happy. My son said that he was the greatest DJ ever. He did a great job at mixing everything up with the kids. If the kids weren't dancing he would mix it up for them. He is an excellent dancer himself. He made sure the moms knew the dances. LOL He made sure that everyone was enjoying themselves. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone.
