Effective October 21, 2026
Category 5 Productions (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides DJ and entertainment services in the Houston, Texas area. This policy explains what personal information we collect through cat5productions.com and our online booking system, how we use it, and the limited ways it is handled.
Information we collect
We only keep the information you give us when you inquire about or book our services:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address (only if you provide it, for example a venue or billing address)
Booking details you submit, such as event date, venue, and requests, are kept so we can perform the event.
Payment information
Payments are handled by third-party processors (Stripe and PayPal). Your card or account details are entered on their secure pages and are never stored on our website or servers. We keep only a record that a payment was made, its amount, and its status.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and confirm, schedule, and perform your event
- To send booking confirmations, receipts, and payment reminders
- To maintain business and tax records
We do not share your information
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. The only exceptions are the payment processors and email delivery services needed to complete your booking, and disclosures required by law.
Cookies
Our site and booking system use only the cookies needed to operate (for example, to keep your booking session secure). We do not use advertising cookies. Social media links on our site lead to services with their own policies.
Retention and security
We keep booking records for as long as needed for business, legal, and tax purposes, then delete them. We use reasonable technical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us below. We will honor requests unless we are required to keep a record by law.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
